Our Beliefs – Serving in Jesus' Name

WE BELIEVE THOSE SAVED BY THE GRACE OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST ARE CALLED FOR GOOD WORKS, DEMONSTRATING TRUE CHRISTIANITY BY LOVING AND SERVING OTHERS IN JESUS' NAME.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works,which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10

“What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” James 2:14-17

WE BELIEVE IN ONE GOD, EXISTING IN THREE PERSONS, FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT.

“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” 2 Corinthians 13:14

WE BELIEVE GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS, THE EARTH, THE SEA, AND ALL THAT IS IN THEM.

“He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them — He remains faithful forever.” Psalm 146:6

WE BELIEVE THE BIBLE IS THE INSPIRED, WHOLLY TRUE AND ACCURATE WORD OF GOD, PROFITABLE TO EQUIP THOSE WHO LOVE GOD FOR EVERY GOOD WORK.

“For the Word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

WE BELIEVE JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY SON OF GOD AND THAT THOSE WHO PUT THEIR FAITH IN HIM, RECEIVING HIM AS LORD AND SAVIOR, WILL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE AND BECOME SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF GOD.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ¹⁰For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Romans 10:9-10

“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” John 1:12

WE BELIEVE GOD IS LOVE AND THAT HE CALLS US TO LOVE HIM WITH OUR WHOLE HEARTS, SOULS, MINDS, AND STRENGTH, AND TO LOVE OUR NEIGHBORS AS OURSELVES.

“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” 1 John 4:8
