November 2025 Newsletter
Dear Friends,
November was a busy month for us in Kenya. We trained new teachers on leading Bible Clubs, held a Christmas Party Club training session, sent teens to Nairobi for continuing Christian Youth in Action Training (CYIA), and completed several water and latrine projects.

We sent 18 of the teens we sponsored last year back to Nairobi for another 11 days of CEF CYIA training. This 4-year program teaches these high school children to lead Bible Clubs by strengthening their Scripture knowledge, training them how to teach the Bible, and giving them materials to use in the clubs. These teens were selected by their pastors and our Kenyan Project Team after having demonstrated strong faith in God and a commitment to serve in their churches. They have already conducted 5-Day Clubs (VBS) in April, August, and November where they led many children into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. By God’s grace, they will become future church leaders in the region.

Sharing God’s love and Word through our building projects continues to bear fruit. We received these messages from two of the young girls where we recently built latrines and water systems.

Last month, Siena Segall completed her annual stuffed animal drive for the children of Kenya. Starting in the 6th grade, this is Siena’s fifth year collecting toys (nearly 600 collected this year) for boys and girls who will love and cherish them. This year her sister Ariana (9) and brother Evan (5) helped by promoting the drive at their school. In Acts 20:35, Jesus tells us that it is “more blessed to give, than receive.” Siena, Ariana, and Evan, under their mother Kristi’s guidance, truly exemplify the joy in giving to others.

Wishing each of you a Blessed Christmas and a Joyous New Year, filled with the love of God, family, and friends. Many thanks to all those who enable us to serve the Lord through their prayers, financial support, donations of items, and help with the many activities in Kenya and the US. We are grateful for you.

Blessings,
Kathy Carlin, Director, Serving in Jesus Name
