Roselyne ives in Lumino, Western Kenya and attends St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Roselyne retired from a government position a few years ago on a modest pension. She supplements her income by working daily on her small vegetable farm. In additional to selling her produce, she uses the vegetables and fruits she grows, along with milk from her two cows and eggs from her chickens, to feed a nourishing meal each day to 15-20 people who are unable to provide food for themselves. This includes 5 boys from desperately impoverished homes who Roselyne provides a home to.
One of her primary roles as a member of the SIJN Project Team is to visit the facilities we support to distribute articles from the container including handing out Bibles and Scripture card packets. She helps research facilities requesting our help to access the level of need, and she works in the kitchen providing food at ministry events, most notably, the CEF training sessions.
